Effective January 1st of 2023 we have a new name! Meet Children’s Therapy Center, Co.
Why the change?
For a long time I (owner, Brittney) have felt like the business name Almaden Valley Children’s Therapy Center was very limiting. When I first started AVCTC I lived in Almaden and dreamed of serving my community. But over time I have realized that many of our clients come from outside the immediate Almaden area and having a very location specific name limits the supports and services we can offer to families everywhere such as though education, parent coaching and more.
After 8 years of being in business we went through the process of becoming a Professional Corporation on January 1st. Because I was going through that journey, I spent a lot of time reflecting on our name and what name would be more appropriate since changing at this time would be the easiest.
Thus Children’s Therapy Center, Co. was born.
What does this mean for you?
Not much. Same service and quality you come to expect from our team. You may have noticed that over the past few months some of our documents have been slowly reflecting our new name. We will be continuing to transition things over to the new name in all of our documents, resources, etc. but the change will take time.
